Now my children are both at school I would like to work for a few hours a day but like everyone else I have to finish at 3pm.

I would quite like to do something in an estate agents but don't want to work weekends and that is when they do a lot of their business.

I like to talk and will talk to anyone so maybe something like reception would be good. I can type 50 words a minute but don't really enjoy it so that would need to be a sideline.

Another thought is marketing but don't have any marketing qualifications.

Any other thoughts, am well spoken and articulate, can spell but not good at maths. Unfortunately am overweight size 16 but am presentable.

I have also thought about Phoenix cards or something like that but it seems everyone is doing them now.

Forgot to add I am a qualified dental nurse too but don't want to get back into that, too much hard work.

MY SIL gave me some advice and said to go and have a lok at one of these temping agencies.. always work for receptionists , office staff etc.

I have no skills in typing but maybe something that I look at. What about school office staff ?

My friend did Phoenix and initally it was hard work making any living out of it, so it depends whether you need to make a good living out of the job. Theres always the Vigin Vie, Pampered Chef, Books etc aswell to consider.

What about 'supply' work for dental nurse.

there are lots of part time jobs out there but unfortunately with some of us Mums it also has to be term time which is not always easy to find.

Hi, ahve a look at www.mumandworking.co.uk - there's loads of info on there and new ideas. I sell usborne books and really enjoy it (www.usborne4u.co.uk) i think there does ahve to be a space in the market for you do do really well but the advantage of usborne is you can sell to schools, nurseries playgroups etc. I love the fact that i have my own business and it really is soooo flexable - theres other options on the www.dsa.co.uk website too. I'm happy to answer any questions if you think it may be an option, gemma.
