LLb or not?

Hi all,

Some help please. I know this is not a large problem by any stretch!

I am in my late 30's and have been a SAHM for 7-years. When I was younger I started an LLb (Law Degree), but never completed. The lack of LLb never really held me back, before children I had a sucessful career in Corporate/Commercial Contracts.

I have started a part-time LLb but to be honest I am not enjoying it that much. I am doing well in it, however. We can afford for me to study, but tbh I am torn. The money could be used elsewhere. I am not looking to qualify as a Solictor or Barrister.

I am looking to go back to work in my old career and have had interviews, getting through to 2nd round interviews. However, I am not 100% sure I am going back into my old line of work.

Any advice would be great Smile

If you don't need the Llb for work and don't want to become a solicitor or barrister then it's just a degree. Which you aren't enjoying that much. Could you do a different pt degree, smthg you would enjoy more?

Thanks for your response Smile

I could change, and I have been thinking about it. However, the Llb has been viewed as a good degree. I know this is not much of a problem, but the thought of 5-years and £££'s...

Why is it taking so long, at they making no credit for what you did before?

No, no credit as it was so long ago
