I got three children under 16. I want to find work, but I have counted the figures out. If we find a child minder for more then two children, you will lose money big time. Remember summer holidays etc.
I still want to find work, without looking for child care.

The government is mad, to force single mothers back to work before children reach 14 of age.

Leaving teenager by themself is a big risk aswell. the end up with bad company, not ending up in school etc.

As much i want to earn well for my family, its seems no way out.

have you thought about setting up some kind of online business for yourself? or even a small business not online, such as cleaning or gardening? you can still receive WFTC and even HB, and you will give your children far more inspiration than just staying on benefits.

Don't you think two parent families have to leave teenagers alone too if they both work? Anyone taking 14 years out of work will I imagine have great difficulty re-entering the workforce. If you are on a low wage you should be able to get up to 70% of your childcare costs reimbursed. Some councils run very reasonably priced summer clubs. I think you only have to do 16 hours a week don't you so it's not as if they are going to be in childcare all week in the holidays.

You pay someone like a nanny who charges per family not per child
