trying for a new job part time in school - now in full time in school ( Private sector)

I am now in a private sector teaching full time. the job came up part time in private school and I wonder whether part time contract is LESS stable than full time? I am worried to risk stability that I have had in my present school for few years full time ( however I know that any situation can be unstable at any point, but at least I have full time contract and know what to expect temr to term) if I go part time to another school - will I risk the stability? I have young family and need to work to cover bills etc

If you transfer to a different employer you lose stability in that they can easily terminate your employment without reason during the first two years.

As you've been with your current employer "a few years" you have greater rights and they cannot just get rid of you easily.

It's not an issue of part time or full time being more stable.

Why within the first two years? what changes after the first 2 years?

With 2 years service (or more) you have the right to make a claim for unfair dismissal. So, your employer needs to have a legitimate reason for terminating your employment.
