Feeling bullied at work

No one has done anything specific, I am just being excluded. The other members of staff have noticed an jokes that I must be being punished for being signed off sick for a while. Do I mention something or just try and ride it through?

My bosses from my actual job! I am being given tasks like cleaning when I am a manager-I in no way consider myself above these jobs as I share these with my colleagues usually. I am not being allowed to do my actual job though or supervise those I am in charge of.

Have you been off with stress? Are they very badly trying to "ease you in gently" but making a complete hash of it?

No, I've been off with an injury from work, it's like I'm being punished for them having to introduce health and safety measures!

Isolation and exclusion is bullying, but quite how you deal with it I am not sure.
Do you feel able to speak confront the people concerned ? Do you have an hr dept you could talk to?

I've been back a week, we outsource our hr but they are only open 9-5 and I can't have my phone on me at work. There are only 2 people above me in the company and they are the ones doing it so I really daren't bring anything up as I feel they are waiting for an excuse to get rid of me now

Could you go off site during your lunch break to use your phone or is there an email address for your outsourced HR you could contact?

I can't see that bringing it up would give them a reason to get rid of you. If you've worked there two years they can't get rid of you just like that anyway. If you haven't work there that long they don't need a reason anyway so if they wanted to get rid of you they would.

I'd suggest speaking to them saying you are feeling a bit excluded and are concerned about not being able to do your job and wondered if there was anything wrong, and would welcome the opportunity to discuss your role and your performance.

I have been in that situation and I agree with Flowery Keep it all polite and to the point That way if they are bullying that will strengthen their case You need to go above the bullies and take someone with you

I have requested a meeting next week as the big boss isn't in tomorrow, I want to ask outright if they are trying to get me to quit-is this advisable?

Not really. I would advise a more constructive approach as I recommended in my previous post.
