Do any companies do term time contracts?

Ad the title says really.

I'm looking to get back into work after 7 years as a SAHM .

Due to various reasons I really need term time only work. I know schools obviously are but just wondered if any big companies offered that type of contract?

I realise I want the moon on a stick but worth asking.

Not sure about big companies but other educational establishments do - eg unis and colleges - and uni terms are even shorter than school terms! Also some public sector posts (eg councils) are term-time only, and will offer flexi-time etc.

Bt used to, I think.

I work a term time contract with our local council however you usually have to have worked for a year before you can request a contract change to flexi time, finishing at 3pm or term time etc.
No harm in asking a local authority if you get to interview stage. Generally if they need your skills they are so cash strapped they will agree to anything!

Hi, have you thought about other jobs you could do that only operate in term times? There's the younger end of the scale working within the early years area, such as running a children's group, class or activity, such as music, drama, etc.

I work for the NHS which offers term time to employees. I am looking into it myself at the moment.
