You know that RC job in Cumbria Rhubarb was dithering about? Well.................

Looks like I'll be going!

The lady called back. They don't want to do a phone interview, they really want to see me in person. They can't pay for the flights but they can pay for petrol if I fill out a claim form, which I will do to pay Janh back - can you still do this Janh? She did say that the head interviewer would be really thrilled if I made the effort and went.

The hours are from 17.5 to 21 a week and very flexible, which is ideal! I would be able to start say, on Monday 24th July which gives us a week in the UK to find a house etc.

There are 5 other candidates and me. If I don't get the job she says there are others that come up, esp in Carlisle and she'll forward details of these onto me.

We're selling some stuff and have had enquiries already so hopefully we should make a bit of money back to pay for the flights. I'm going to book them now. Oh bloody Nora!

OH excellent news Rhubarb

They had better give you the job with all the effort you have made to get there

Rhubarb · 21/06/2006 20:07

Tinker! I'm not that religious you know!
We just sold our telly and dvd for 50 euros, plus a load of toys and clothes for 10 euros so that'll help! Just a load more organisation to do now for the interview! Wish they had a stressy emoticon on here!
