Hi, this is just a question as I am not sure what the norm is.
Pleaae consider this situation:
working hours are mon - fri full time, has to attend and help co-ordinate a work event over a whole weekend- so finish work fri afternoon, travel to event, stay there and work over weekend, arrive home sun pm, due to work again Monday morning.
In this job, pay is £26k p.a. Annual leave is statutory minimum.
Do you think it is fair or reasonable to have some time off in lieu for this? So either the Monday or Tuesday after arriving back - or just to go in late on the Monday? If so, how much time off would you expect?
Or is the 'norm' here just to work the following week as normal and not expect anything back?
