Offered new job and pregnant

I am 6 weeks pregnant and found out in between interviews for a job that I was headhunted for.
I really like the company and the role but haven't disclosed that I am pg.
I expect to be offered the job as all the interviews went really well.
So what do I do now? My idea is to go and talk to them as soon as I get an offer and tell them then. I would then work out a solution that works for everyone with them.
Would this be a good idea?
Or should I not tell them and pretend I didn't know?
Any other options?

I have been in this position, accept the job and tell them when you feel ready. Its completely up to you. Some would say you owe it to the company to tell them as early as poss but legally you don't have to until 20 weeks I think. If they want you, being preggers should not affect anything, you probably wont be entitled to company maternity bebefits but statutory maternity from government. Congrats by the way!

Same happened to me and I was mortified at the time because I had 8yo DD and no plans for more. I had just been offered a job I had been very lucky to get and I stressed so much about it for the first couple of weeks I was there. I told my immediate superior and even offered to 'go quietly' if they wanted to replace me as it was v early days. I did also, however, state my case that I would still be an asset to the company and that my maternity leave would be taken during the quietest time of year. They were absolutely brilliant about it, rejecting my offer to leave and were completely fair and understanding about everything. I was so pleased to have got it off my chest and it ended up being the best job I've ever had.

It's good to hear that some companies think longterm. This is quite a small company so not sure how well it could cope with having to find a temporary replacement.
I'm very nervous!
