Are they going to replace me at work?

Hi everyone. Have written on here before about this problem. Basically I am on a extended probationary period at work until the 28th of September. I work as a Kitchen Assistant in a Secondary school. My probationary period was extended as the Supervisor didn't think I was fast enough to work in a Secondary school however I have worked in Primary Schools before as a Kitchen Assistant and the Supervisor and the Area Manager did think I would be more suited to work in Primary Schools. I got a letter from them saying that on the 28th of September I will be getting another review to decide whether I stay or go. Since starting back last Wednesday everything was going ok-ish but since Monday of this week the Supervisor has been telling me to be faster and today the Area Manager came in as well. I bagged up 100 baguettes in 40 mins, sealed them and had put them all out and the Supervisor still told me to be faster as I was working too slow. Then when we was on our break a girl came in to hand in her CV and application form. She came up to where we were sitting and asked to see the Supervisor as she had come to give her the application form for the role of the Kitchen Asssistant. Anyway the girl that I started with at the same time has now been given my job to do and I have been given the job of washing-up the dishes/cutlery only. My role before was to get the baguettes done up, make up the pasta salads/paninis but now I find that my job role is being taken over by the other girl. I am not in at work tomorrow or Friday but I am back in on Monday. Should I speak to my Supervisor or wait and see what happens? Also if I do what should I say?

You could ask them, so you know what's going on, but given they have concerns about your performance and are fully entitled to change your role, there's probably not a lot you can do about it if they want to do that.

On another note, and something to bear in mind, you've posted five times or so on here about this issue in the last couple of months, and not one single time have you acknowledged any of the advice and support you've been given.

This is the 2nd time I have posted on here about this particular problem. How do you know I have not acknowledged any of the advice and support I have been given?

Bengal38 - you need to take the advice you have previously been given and there are at least 5 threads on here started by you or where you have brought up the issues.

Do you enjoy the job and want to continue working there? You seem so negative about it all that why would you want to pass your probationary period. Your boss shouts at you, you think they are trying to replace you, they tell you you do not work fast enough. It all sounds as though you are not coping with the role/environment.

Sorry to be harsh and have not posted on previous threads but have seen you posting about this and not moving forward.

"How do you know I have not acknowledged any of the advice and support I have been given? "

I gave you advice on two of them myself! A simple search indicates that you have started several threads about your work situation then never returned to them to acknowledge, answer or thank anyone.

As I say, I gave you advice on two of them, and gave up responding to you after that.
