Background: I'm a teacher and I contribute materials regularly to the school's website. Colleague (equal experience, similar qualifications) tells me I need to change the format of my materials to tidy up the website. I disagree for some (not all) as they work well for my students and are methodologically sound.

She then says "Oh well you're obviously stuck in your ways, do what you want" and mentions the Master's degree she's doing, with the obvious implication that I don't know what I'm doing (I have a strong academic background and seem to be regarded as good at what I do by line managers, although I'm not an expert on online learning).

In most schools I've worked in, teachers will give each other feedback but in a way which respects different teaching styles and methods. So I was quite offended by her comments as I feel they questioned my professional abilities.

HOw would you respond to this?

ignore her
she is probably insecure about her abilities if she has to bang on about doing a masters
