Hi all

The www is littered with life coaches but have no idea if they're any good. I want to find one to help support my DH through professional change.

Any recs?

Thanks

Yes. She helped me, DH and lots of friends. PM me your email address and I'll send you her contact details.

My DH has been working with this lady over a year or so; started with business/career stuff and also helped with work/life balance.
He listens to her more than me so must be good!

You need to look at their training and if they belong to or are accredited by a professional body. And if they do, check out the training and the professional association- some are not all they seem.

They should have a diploma in coaching and not simply a 6 week "Micky Mouse" kind of training course.

Be wary of jargon like Solution Based Coachng- that's what coaching is by its very nature. (This is a take on the training some counsellors have called Solution Focused Therapy, which is a type of counselling.)
