Hi does anyone have any ideas of part time jobs i can do in the evening once DD has gone to bed? DH will be home with her,or even something i could do during the day where i can take her with me?Coming to the end of my mat leave and ideally need to be earning £300 a month.I have an NVQ3 in childcare and been looking into childminding but live in a rented house and not sure if this might be a problem also know it can take a while to get started.Thought about cleaning too but any other ideas welcome!

depends on where you live but some people looking for a nanny would let you bring your DD with you - if you have qualification and childcare experience it might be worth looking into - would be quicker - and less work to set up - nannyjob is I think a good website, although gumtree is another place - but look and maybe post on the nannies section on here for more thought - people often looking for part time as well
evening jobs - well babysitting can be well paid again especially with childcare qualifcations - again depends on the area how much depand I imagine - sitters.co.uk might worth registering on
and childcare.co.uk is another website for advertising/looking for jobs

Care work - shifts include all nighters though
Or bar work?

Larger employers may have creches /nurseries eg your local college or nhs

I started as a pampered chef consultant during my last mat leave (last May) . I work nights, and from what you say you want to earn, it is very achievable doing maybe 2 nights a week. Have you thought about party plan as an option? Def earns more than a couple of hours cleaning!

Health Care Assistant?

If you have the use of a car then could work in the Community; if not then enquire about vacancies and training at your local Health Trust.

Or "Home Help" type roles via Social Services; they need evening care workers

Register with a babysitting agency ? This depends where you are though as I tried and have had nothing in 8 months.

Bar work? cinemas? waiting on?
