I have just recieved an invite for an interview for a role working with families who need support. The interview consists of a presentation from me, an interview...and then...a group discussion with the other candidates observed by the panel...has anyone had any experience of this?
I'm just worried that we will end up looking like a bunch off of the Apprentice all trying for a spot in the limelight.. so would be grateful of any tips or advice !

Had something similar - we got put into a group, and some made up request for money, and told there was 100k to split out. Sort it out.
I got offered a choice of roles there (which I rejected), so must have done OK.
My suggestions:
Be yourself - they will be looking to see if you can interact with people in generally, but also the people already in the team.
Don't really labour a point if someone else is shouting it down - find another way to put across the same point.
Think of some topics of conversation before you go in, just to get things going if they don't give you any help.
Don't stay silent, but don't shout anyone down
If possible, enjoy yourself!
