It is tough and pretty stressful but as everyone else says you just get into a routine. And do as much as you can night before.
I have 2 DC's, 5 and 3, one in school and the other in pre-school. We need to be out of the house at 7.55 to drop kids at CM and me on to catch train to work. I get up at 6.30, shower and dress, make a quick cup of tea and get myself ready before I wake the kids. Kids up at 7.00. They loll around for 15 mins drinking their milk and watching me put my make up on (or if don't have time do it on the train). Then I get them dressed (uniforms, pants, vests, tights, socks all laid out the night before). Clean teeth, brush hair. Coats and shoes on. Hats, gloves, scarves, book bags and water bottles all ready to go by the front door (also done the night before). Anti-freeze also by the front door and I do a quick trip to start the car running, front and back windscreen heaters blasting while I de-ice the car. Then on our way.
The kids have breakfast at the childminders. I don't think I could cope having to sort breakfast too and having to be out at that time.
I envy DH so much. He leaves the house early (7.15) but only has himself to get ready. I can't remember what that feels like, only having to get myself washed and dressed of a morning.
