Public Sector Strikes and other action.

I have just googled to see what action is going ahead on the day of the strike next week...I came up with precious little.

Is this an excuse for a lie in or are public sector workers actually demonstrating/protesting?

Is there going to be a mass invasion of london? At least there are going to be marches at the centres of local government? Let me know, I might participate if there is enough momentum! I'm not going to bother if there are just two of you who turn up at lunchtime and go home at 2.

I found nothing online....convince me this is worth backing?

My service manager described it as having 'no teeth'.

I think I agree.

Quite.
I work with 250 other private sector workers and am one of the very few who are vaguely inclined to support the public sector strike.
There is nothing to show that this strike is being organised as anything other than a day off and no-one can see what use it is supposed to serve other than national disruption and cost to the taxpayer.

Are public sector workers not taxpayers? Has the connection not been made?

We have a picket line as does my xh. There's also a rally in a nearby town which I'm going to go to.
