NURSE OR MIDWIFE?

So, you used to do something completely different in your previous life, many moons ago and then you took a decade off from paid employment............then a long held desire to work in the medical field rears it's head.

But you can't decide whether it's nursing or midwifery that is calling you.....
WWYD, especially if you had a mobility problem (which doesn't exclude you apparently but would obviously make life a lot harder). Any opinions from insiders or outsiders very welcome. Thank you.

I think nursing over midwifery if you have a mobility problem.
I imagine both are equally interesting and rewarding careers, but nursing has a lot of different areas you could specialise in eg paeds, intensive care, care of the elderly, coronary care, outpatients etc

Nursing. But you should work for a bit as a care assitant first to make sure you can actually do the day to day care stuff.
