Returning to work when baby is 3months

Baby is due in November and I'm planning to be back at work by end of feb.
I am a nanny and my main job is letting me take my baby with me. My 2 day job isn't.
So looking at childcare (nursery/childminder) it could work and I'd still take some money home. My oh works shifts so when he's off we wouldn't need childcare.
How hard is it going to be leaving our 3m old baby with others?
Has anyone else returned to work this early?
Anything to reassure my OH and I would be great, although it's my profession it's still all new!
Thanks.

I went back when ds was 4 months back in the day you only got 18 weeks paid maternity. I can't lie it was hard. At the time I was a single mum and lived with my dad so I didn't have the responsibility of running a home and worrying about paying bills. I used a childminder . Have you no family that could help?

I went back to work when my baby was 15 weeks. I left him with my Mum, my MIL and a nanny. I went back full-time.

I actually didn't find it that hard to leave him. I make sure now that I am very organised and my work hours are reasonably flexible which helps. I have a very short communute as well which makes life easier.

The only thing I find hard is coming home after a full days work and then doing the second shift. But it is very doable from my perspective and much easier than I thought it would be.

I went back to work when my son was 3 months old in the days when you only got 14 weeks paid Mat Leave. It was hard and i hated it but it was do able. For me it was the constant feeling of being tired that was the killer.

It was the norm once upon a time. It will be hard but you'll cope. Good luck.
