So I'm 13+2... really can't deal with the amount of pressure and stress I'm under at work. The company that I work for may also go under, as were not income producing. I feel a little trapped Confused since finding out I'm pregnant and had hoped to have left by now. My dilemma is should I stay for a few more months till I go on ML. Which I'm guessing I won't get anyway if the company goes under. Or leave?
Will I still qualify for maternity pay in the event I find a new job? Also should I be honest about being pregnant at an Interview?

Thanks MNers.x

I know how tough it is to face a high-stress job if you are pregnant, but I say hang on in there if you possibly can.

If you hang on at least you stand a chance of getting maternity pay, whereas if you leave I am not sure what you will get.

Can you take some leave? Or possibly change your working hours for a little while to make things easier?

As you are pregnant you are entitled to a risk assessment which should protect you from undue stress/workload, although I know that is easier said than done.

If you leave and start a new job I don't think you will get any maternity pay, as I think you have to be with a company for a set time, maybe a year, before you start qualifying for it.

You won't get maternity pay if you start a new job now.

Hi - if you are feeling stressed - do talk to your midwife and get along to your GP - there would certainly sign you off for a few weeks
You would I think get SMP or MA if the company goes under but not any additional pay they might give you
