Changing terms and conditions while on maternity leave

I am currently on additional maternity leave and have received information today that my company is planning to change its terms and conditions of employment for staff at my scale. This would include abolishing flexi-time, which I would consider to be one the main benefits of my current role. I thought I was entitled to retain to the same or a similiar job with the same terms and conditions and salary. Would anyone be able to give me some advice on the legality of this?

TIA

I would write back and explain exactly why you do not want the conditions that will be of advantage to you to be changed eg flexi-time will allow you to meet unexpected family committments without affecting your total hours/work. Tell them, in writing, that you do not agree to their proposals and would be willing to discuss other options with them(to show willing on your part). In your letter, point out that their letter has caused you to be upset and you would like the matter to be resolved as quickly as possible in order to go back to enjoying your maternity leave as every new mother should. You could hint that you have already or are considering taking legal advice as your job is important to you as is doing the job well etc. See what they come back with
