Thinking of giving it a go as a pampered chef consultant, for all the usual reasons... want to buy make-up/clothes/boots again without feeling it's taking food from the mouths of my kids blah blah.... has anyone had a BAD experience of doing it? Everything I try to look up about it seems all happy clappy, can it really be that good?

I have just started out and had some really bad shows that have just scraped which was a bit demoralising but for 'pin money' and a chance to have fun whilst earning money and being away from your kids I have found it a great experience - it also made me start wearing proper clothes again and gave me a sense of purpose.

Don't you find the merchandise really pricey for what it is? I got a plastic lemon juicer and a plastic measuring spoon and the lot came to about £20! It was for charity so I paid it but I was a bit Shock
