What job can I do?

I currently work in sales and it's getting me down. My colleagues are animals and the wage pays the bills, but leaves nothing over at all for leisure pursuits like the cinema or lunch out etc.

On the odd occasion I have stayed in Travelodges or Premier Inn's or those kind of hotels, when leaving in the morning, I have seen people all suited up leaving for work.

As childcare would not be a problem for me now, I would absolutely love to spread my wings and to stay regularly in hotels as part of my job, but what sort of job allows for this to happen?

Hope someone can guide me in the right direction

Uhmm, wouldn't it be better to go for a job where you enjoy what you're being paid to do, rather than just wafting in and out of hotels for two minutes morning and evening.

What are you good at? What do you like to do? I mean general things. Do you like numbers or are you creative or are you one of those people who likes attention to detail and every little thing being right.

Or you could get a job in events management which means you spend lots of time in hotels. I've spent years travelling around and believe me, the shine rubs off cheap hotels really quickly. Sometimes it felt like I hadn't seen my own home in weeks.

You could always become a hooker.

I tried really hard not to say that!

He He.

Seriously though. Staying in hotels for work = not as great as it seems.

The novelty soon wears off. Trust me.

i agree with seeyou - staying in hotels is only fun if it's very occasional. i suspect you can't be that happy at home if you'd prefer to be in the Travel Lodge on a regular basis!
