Arise UK

These guys provide virtual call centre services for a well known UK catalogue. You will need a broadband connection, a PC and a quiet place to work.

Is this what you had in mind?

I have been working for these guys for about 16months now and it is completely legit. You can earn between £6-£10 per hour depending on you hitting certain metrics. You will need to be self-employed, and there is no dodging the tax man as you are required to submit your registration numbers and copies of your tax return as well, if you are servicing with them.

Here's a great one that I found recently. Its called My Shopping Genie and can be found on this link thegeniehaslanded.com The idea behind it is to give away the free application to help people save money when they shop online. You then get paid every time the person clicks on it. It works out around £2 a month in earnings for each one you give away - so give away 1000 in a month you'll make around £200 a month. Plus if they buy something you will get a commission on what they buy. Get back to me if you've any questions though.

I work for Usborne Childrens Books. I work as much or as little as i want and still take my DS to school and pick him up each day. I love the product and get a lot of job satisfaction advising people what might suit their child or what could be a great gift idea. There are no sales targets which suits me perfectly.
It really does depend on you and your circumstances. Happy to chat more, if you have questions.
Best of luck in what you decide to do.

Try Chocolate World www.chocolate-world.co.uk they have fantastic chocolates and are happy for you to sell them any which way (well as long as it is ethical!). This also fits in well with school holidays as chocolates are sold in the run up to Christmas and Easter and are not sold too often in the summer.
