Any wolly huggers from Ireland?

What's the best (ie cheapest) way to send the woolly hugs accross the water? I seem to have a small stash of blankets to send.

Hello there and thank you so much. Will do a bit of investigating for you. X

Thanks

How heavy do you think your parcel will be?

sorry it took so long getting back to you. I'd say there's about 2kg and still hooking/knitting.

I'm about an hour drive from the northern ireland border so could take a trip up to a post office up there if it was cheaper.

qazxc if you're going to post Royal Mail from Northern Ireland, split up your parcels to ensure none weighs more than 2kg. I posted two parcels yesterday. One parcel was just under 2kg, so it was a "Small Parcel" - it cost £5.45 to send. The other was just over 2kg, so it became a "Medium Parcel" - it cost me £15.85 - nearly three times the price!

Irish post office seems to be very expensive €30.00 for a 2kg parcel, i probably will need to drive up the north to post. thanks for the tip of making sure that the parcel stay under 2 kg.

Are there any crafty sales planned? I have a few bits that I could throw in too.
The color pack and 10 balls of white stylecraft I ordered have just arrived! I am like a kid at christmas. Can't wait to get stuck in!

Our next planned craft sale will be at Christmas, so if you have things ready then yes please!!

If they are quite small, would they fit in a few large A4 envelopes? Sending a packet is much cheaper than a parcel

Frantically piecing together/weaving in ends whenever the toddler allows.
Have a good few packages and will take a drive up north on thursday.

I use courier companies for parcels to the UK, they are always far cheaper than anpost. At christmas I was quoted €25+ for a box that cost me €12.50 with parcel2go, and they picked it up from my house!

Oh fabulous - thank you!

Why can't they donate delivery for free? Don't they know who we are?!
