Jolly D, that puts one worry out of my head

cornsilk · 29/03/2010 10:01

I'll go to his party. Will there be sausage rolls?

Clarissimo · 29/03/2010 10:01

PMSL

Clarissimo · 29/03/2010 10:02

No cornsilk, but there will be lessons on making ther perfect canape and a make- your- oen- hanging- straw - heart mastercalss.

cornsilk · 29/03/2010 10:05

That sounds fun! I'll even make a music compilation on my ipod. 'True Blue' by Madonna would get the party off to a great start.

MinnieMalone · 29/03/2010 10:06

Can't the lovely Sam fix him up with some of her awfully clever Tory wives 'successful business women' friends?

tartyhighheels · 29/03/2010 10:07

David Cameron is an arse kisser - still note going to vote for him though

AbsOfCroissant · 29/03/2010 10:08

Surely he has some old chums from Eton who has sisters who went to Cheltenham Ladies College? They would be jolly good fun at a party.

What kind of party? I do SO love a good dinner party.

Bumperlicious · 29/03/2010 10:10

But only if you are married, not if you are one of those unmarried hippies.

MinnieMalone · 29/03/2010 10:10

Oh, why the hell not. He seems like a nice chap and his friends are so charming.

MinnieMalone · 29/03/2010 10:11

I'm pretty sure that when Eton twats boys and Cheltenham 'laydeez' get together for a party it's one yer old 'car keys in the fruit bowl' affairs @ AbsofCroissant

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 29/03/2010 14:27

how awfully jolly. Does that mean I can hang up my pinny, send my (imaginary) Joey and Flavia to nursery with these filthy socialist vouchers, and start a Career? What will the DM Telegraph neighbours say?

On a serious note, I nearly cried when I hear David Cameron talking favourably about all women shortlists. Partly because someone at the top of the political game actually sees the sense in redressing institutional sexism. More because that person belongs to a party whose ginormous sense of entitlement and disregard for anyone without bales of cash means I will never, never vote for them.

MrsFlittersnoop · 30/03/2010 14:04

Did you know that according to David, Sam is a "highly unconventional" woman.

"What, what? " I hear you all cry!

Does she moonlight as a backing singer for the Arctic Monkeys? Was she home-educated by drug-addled hippies in a teepee in West Wales or reared by feral dogs in the wilds of Alaska?

No dear readers, no.

According to David "she went to a Day School".

Old article here, but a timely re-read methinks.

Portofino · 30/03/2010 14:08

But....but Liz Hurley said in the Sunday Times that Dave and Sam were great fun so it MUST be true!

Portofino · 30/03/2010 14:12

" ?Oh, I love David Cameron,? she says at one point. ?I?ve had lunch with David and Samantha a few times and found them both extremely charming. I think he?s gorgeous. Super-sexy! He?s very hands-on with his kids, very charismatic. Powerful folk can be sexy"

cornsilk · 30/03/2010 14:12

Tim likes him too

cornsilk · 30/03/2010 14:14

Don't think Gordonwants to go.
