Russell T Davies says I called him "a paedophile and a groomer" in this. It's a lie. I did call him a groomer, because he used Doctor Who to push gender ideology, in which no child would believe unless an adult had planted it in his or her head.

And I just find it disingenuous from him. It's no secret I don't love his decent into more, let's call it, aggressive strategies on social media, but they are now coming home to roost and won't be good for any of us.

The word Groomer has a very specific history when it comes to CSA so to use it as often as he (and other) do and then claim you don't mean it in the very well accepted way is always meant just doesn't sit right with me.

Is there a term we can use that isn't sp precariously close to slandering someone as a Child sex abuser?

Here is the article he is referring to in the tweet

‘One person turned up at my house’: Russell T Davies on fierce fandom, finding love after grief - and the fear that drives him to keep a knife by the door

He’s the titan of TV who revived a flatlined Doctor Who and turned British queer life into jaw-dropping drama. But the screenwriter’s groundbreaking writing has sometimes made him a target of hate – from homophobes and Whovians alike

The same one's you believe are socially constructed.

So these ‘innate’ behaviours differ over time and from culture to culture?

So there are no [as in zero] behavioural traits that are specifically male or female?
But there are gendered behaviours that are specifically male or female?

No. There are typical behaviours.

What is your difference between 'behavioural traits and 'gendered behaviours'?

I never said anything about behavioural traits so don't know what you are talking about.

Ok so there are 'typical behaviours' that are 'gendered', but you don't mean split by sex but by something else? Called 'gender'?

So what typical behaviours do 'female gendered' people have in common?

Edited

Its behaviour that's typically associated to a sex that is socially constructed into gender categories.

You tell me. GC's are the stereotype police.

Ah yes. Just after Dean wondered whether they still taught reading comprehension.

“The fact that cultures differ in expression of gender can also be a result of cultural pressures. Women in Afghanistan aren't sporting mini skirts & high heals for a reason….they aren’t at liberty to. That's why when measuring gendered cultural differences in egalitarian countries like in Sweden are more accurate which research has shown to have even broader differences in gendered behaviour particularly in employment choices.”

Are you suggesting wearing high heals [sic] is innate? The last sentence is incoherent. You might want to rewrite.

I am female and spent my whole life making things including working in construction for almost my whole working life so no, this is your claim but all you seem to do is berate anyone trying to work out what it is you are talking about.

Do you mean 'peeing sitting down' or 'bleeding from your genitals on average once a month for a significant period of your life'? If the claim is so obvious there should be loads of examples that you can throw at us.

Are you suggesting wearing high heals [sic] is innate?

No. The overarching point is gendered inclinations (in this case towards aesthetics) are both nurture & nature.

DeanElderberry · 07/10/2026 07:56

Bleeding for 5 (ish) days out of 28 for 40 years of your life. No fun.

Other mammals: I'd walk into a field with a cow (without a calf) with no fear or pause. I would not walk into a field with a bull.

The animals have predictably different behaviour patterns linked to their sexes caused by their biology. They have no gender.

Sex matters, everyone has a sexed body. Gender is something you can imagine yourself to have if you want to.

So if you can tell us which aren’t innate, why are you struggling so hard to describe those that are?

This is such a dogs breakfast of misunderstanding I can't even attempt to make heads or tales of it.

Oh so not gendered behaviours it is now 'gendered inclinations...towards aesthetics'.

So what GI...TAs as I shall now call it are you talking about?

Can you give some male GITAs and some female GITAs as examples?

No I'm not going explain your own ideology to you. Its gender criticals that claim gendered behaviours/inclinations are exclusively social construct so you know full well what they are otherwise you wouldn't be incessantly crying about women being slaves to the stereotypical expectations of men.

And if you knew what you are claiming to know you'd be jumping to point plenty of examples out to us explicitly. Instead when push comes to shove you resort to insulting other people's posts in an attempt to deflect from giving the answer to a proposition that you claim.

And honestly if you think you've already answered something satisfactorily how hard would it be to repost your own post?

NotBadConsidering · 07/10/2026 08:17

This nonsense is all very well, but none of it explains how if “gender” is somehow biological, how can it be that people who have detransitioned were led to believe their “gender” is one thing, when it actually wasn’t, if it’s not grooming?

Was their biology wrong? Did it change?

Even if you believe such nonsense as this, the only way you can explain how they misunderstood their own “biologically based gender” to erroneously transition is because they were groomed into thinking they were interpreting their “biologically based gender” correctly.

Shedmistress · 07/10/2026 08:18

People who you call 'gender critial' just know there are 2 sexes.

That is it.

In amongst people who know there are two sexes will be a whole array of people who have a whole range of views about 'gendered behaviour'. And there will be extremes on both sides of the expecations of males and females.

It seems you are the one that does not understand this.

ShallWeDance · 07/10/2026 08:20

It's not a term I use except in relation to sexual abuse.

Really interesting to see, as several posters have pointed out, that there are some clear overlaps between different kinds of grooming even if the objective differs.

I’m waiting for the multiple choice aesthetics, vibes and hobbies quiz, like in magazines of yore, to tell me my gender.

Mostly As you are a man, Mostly Bs you are gender neutral/non binary, Mostly Cs you are a woman.
It should be easy enough.
