Icelandic man faces lawsuit for opposing gender surgery on children

I have just been reading about this case on Twitter - I hadn't come across it before.

A man is being sued by Ugla Stefanía Kristjönudóttir Jónsdóttir, who some of us know as Owl Fisher, for referring to puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones for minors as child abuse.

The man, Eldur SK Isidor, is gardening, but I won't link to his crowdfunder for obvious reasons. On X he writes:

"It is a SLAPP-style attempt to bankrupt and silence a gay man who refuses to lie about sex, biology, and the safeguarding of children. Ugla’s lawsuit is designed to scare anyone who dares question the current orthodoxy. If it succeeds, it sets a dangerous precedent: that critics of gender ideology can be dragged through the courts and financially ruined for telling the truth."

One thing he says that surprised me is that Ugla was one of the authors of the infamous Denton's document. Were others aware of this?

The Denton's connection is interesting. Does anyone know any more about that?

I’ve supported him. Thanks for highlighting this OP.

And here is the Trans Jesus on the Bus that he refers to in the interview.

This has info on the Denton’s document: https://spectator.com/article/the-document-that-reveals-the-remarkable-tactics-of-trans-lobbyists/

I'm going to support him. Thanks for sending the link. I live in Ireland and things are pretty mad there. Self ID etc. So grateful to those in UK who have made an enormous difference in holding back childhood medicalisation and keeping women and children's spaces for changing and toileting free from men. If you are blocking puberty for a child whose body is ready for puberty you are stopping them develop: their bones, their brains. There is one particularly awful example in Julie in Genderland the podcast when a dad is talking about his son being on puberty blockers and the fact that he still looks like a younger boy now even though he is 18. He then talks about all the people online who encouraged him and points out that there are interested parties that like the idea of a boy keeping his youthful body and looks, especially when now he is legally 'of age'.
It's all very disturbing stuff.

Still can't believe that Tickle v's Giggle case in Australia went the wrong way. These cases need all the support they can get.

Thank you. A cause to get behind.
It's another text book case of using the courts to intimidate and silence those looking to safeguard children. If I recall correctly the Denton's document was very focused on targeting the young - along with the legal system and forces of law and order.

Here you go: direct from the Denton's report-
This introduction was written on behalf of IGLYO by Ugla Stefanía Kristjönudóttir Jónsdóttir, who is a young trans activist and former IGLYO board member from Iceland. IGLYO hopes that this report is one modest step ahead towards achieving a better life of transgender youth.

The full Denton's doc is available at

Here's a summing up from
Analysis of the Dentons Document: A How to Manual - Women Speak Tasmania
The document frames itself as a “how-to” playbook. Some key techniques it recommends:

  • Incremental change: Introduce reforms step by step rather than all at once, to avoid backlash.
  • Piggybacking on other causes: Attach trans rights to broader equality, diversity, or anti-discrimination initiatives to normalise them.
  • Strategic framing: Use language that resonates positively (e.g., “equality,” “human rights”) and avoid terms that may provoke opposition.
  • Youth mobilisation: Position young people as the face of reform efforts, emphasising innocence and urgency to gain public sympathy.
  • Litigation and legal tools: Where possible, bring test cases to courts to compel governments to adapt laws.
That was written in 2019 - it all looks horribly familiar, doesn't it?

Yes. And it was depressingly successful - especially the gaslighting of the young to the extent that they dismiss facts, science and the rights of others in favour of niche demands from the delulu brigade. 🙄

Does anyone know the best way to suggest articles to newspapers? I live in Ireland where there is hardly any coverage of this kind of story. This is also the case in Australia and as an Australian I'm pretty horrified by what is happening there. I think this is a story that needs reporting but also it would be a good story right?! The Denton stuff and some of the Icelandic madness and the character of Elder. It's all very newsworthy! How do you suggest articles for journalists to write?
