More delays for women and girls' safety

Do all recommendations and legislation take a stupidly long time to be adopted? Or is it just that concerning the safety of women and girls? Following Bridget Phillipson's epic exploits with with the ECRH code, The Times is this morning reporting some of the Sarah Everard inquiry findings have yet to be adopted: https://www.thetimes.com/uk/crime/article/sarah-everard-angiolini-inquiry-women-safety-rqjrgnlhn

Archive link isn't working for me any more, but this is the gist for anyone without a subscription:

'A nationwide launch of Project Vigilant, a policing operation that disrupts predatory behaviour was also proposed. But the Home Office, the National Police Chiefs' Council and the College of Policing have not yet accepted the second set of recommendations.

Janaya Walker, the interim director of the End Violence Against Women coalition said: 'Six months on, we are disappointed that such recommendations have not been met with the urgency they demand. It is women and girls who will bear the cost if the government does not invest in prevention.''

Sarah Everard inquiry findings ‘must be adopted to stop predators’

Neither the Home Office nor police chiefs have accepted a second round of recommendations from Lady Angiolini’s report

Well if they start recording all sexually inappropriate behaviour by men including voyeurism and indecent exposure every single man who claims a trans identity and uses female changing facilities would have a criminal record. Add to that the new rules around recording the race of perpetrators it could well make some difficult reading for those who are wedded to "progressive" policies and it would show the true scale of the problem of male predation of women and girls, so theyd rather drag their feet than act and having to deal with the results

'Recording sexually inappropriate behaviour by men'? There's a whole industry catering to it

Isn't there at least one Hooters outlet open in the UK somewhere?

They managed to develop the guidance to Anti-Muslim Hostility, roll it out countrywide and implement it in 5 minutes flat. The fact that the government doesn't do that for legalisation/guidance that protects women, shows how valued women by government. We're just not the right sort of 'victims'.

I think when it comes to women there's a strong social undercurrent of "But that's just how it is for women, men are gonna predate given half a chance" that means it's hard to get people to believe conttols can work and that it doesn't have to be like this.

Whereas the Islamophobia, that is new so there's more belief it can be prevented.

The recommendation to record the locations of crime in more detail was a good one. You look at where crimes occur within a location to design out crime against women.
