'A nationwide launch of Project Vigilant, a policing operation that disrupts predatory behaviour was also proposed. But the Home Office, the National Police Chiefs' Council and the College of Policing have not yet accepted the second set of recommendations.
Janaya Walker, the interim director of the End Violence Against Women coalition said: 'Six months on, we are disappointed that such recommendations have not been met with the urgency they demand. It is women and girls who will bear the cost if the government does not invest in prevention.''
