So what was they /themmer Emma Corrin doing speaking at Variety 's Power of Women event when she claims to be, ahem, non-binary? Surely an event like this would be anathema to someone who can't decide if they are male or female? How can anyone take these ridiculous wokerati seriously??

Don’t expect coherency from the incoherent.

Josh Connor was also a speaker, and Emma was one of many recipients. I think the point was that anyone can be an ally to women and a feminist? and their speech was very much rooted in the idea of community and collaborative support.

Emma specifically won an award for women who inspire other women and was put on the front cover of the women's issue.

This is despite the fact she says she's not a woman.

But she justified accepting the award with literal gibberish about her "queer identity".

It's also the inaugural award for London that she won - which means so far 100% of Variety's London women's award winners have been women who pretend they're not women.

sadmillenial · 06/06/2026 07:31

ok - i wouldnt start quoting stats for any possible inaugural award lol

also, that is demonstrably false - the awards have been happening for at least 3 years that i can see, and each year there are multiple recipients, as there were this year

There isnt an inaugural award for london, they didnt "win" a specific award. Variety did publish a "women's impact report:london" before the awards, but that wasnt linked to specific awards. Is that what you're referencing?

Theeyeballsinthesky · 06/06/2026 08:49

ah the remarkably over privileged staggeringly lacking in any kind of self awareness Emma corrin is still twatting on is they?

appropriating the genuine struggles of LGB ppl for acceptance by wittering on about being 'queer' and NB and their oppression performing high profile female roles

they considers themselves such a special not like the other girls person, their disdain for other women not being as amazing as they is palpable - right up until it comes to winning awards for women

why ppl pander and fawn to them ill never know

The point is that she knows she is a woman. Everyone knows. And she knows that everyone knows.
The non-binary thing is just her 'gender identity', it doesn't stop her being a woman. So I have no problem with her being awarded as a woman.

Never confuse sex and gender.

they knows they is a woman but they spends their time wanging on about their endless difficulties and oppression because they is queer and NB and not like actual women

their hypocrisy is off the scale

unlike Emma I never confuse sex and gender
