Stella Creasy has been posting on X about using archaic process to overturned the EHRC guidelines and publicly arguing with the likes of Akua Reindorf KC. She is being given a pretty hard time but not backing down. Why does she want this so badly?!

I expect BP just wanted to sign whatever would gain her the most win points.

Of course female Labour MPs have Rosie Duffield as an object lesson of what happens if they step out of line on this issue.

Stella Creasy would use anything she thought would help keep her profile more visible. She's a literal poster child for self serving politicians.

I think the comments suggesting she’s nice and well meaning but misguided are naive. I’ve had plenty of experience of how she conducts herself on social media and she is not a nice person.

Agreed.

She appears to identify as a nice, well-meaning person, and pushes that as her image, but the reality is anything but.

Lots of people happy to fall for it, though.
