What do we know about Zoe Garbett (Hackney’s new Green mayor) in the context of gender identity politics? I assume she must be full on TWAW or the Greens would have ex-communicated her/Walter Titty wouldn’t be seen with her, but is this correct?

"We will defend and protect the rights of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities and continue to campaign for full legal rights and equal access to services for trans people, particularly in the wake of the 2025 Supreme Court ruling."

Zoe seems to be unaware that trans people already have the same legal rights and equal access to services as everyone else.

I think she wants to go further than that . In the outline of her manifesto for Mayor she mentions “trans access to single sex spaces” obviously not recognising the irony of that statement.

Yes didn't Zahra Sultana say she was campaigning for Palestine to be a Secular socialist democracy? Sounds pretty imperialist to me to impose your Western Socialist atheistic ideals onto a foreign country?

Of course Yasser Arafat said much the same, which was why the Israelis and the Americans refused to deal with him; democracy, they could stand, but socialism was a hard no.

I'm a little confused by this.

Does it mean that Reform were responsible for the elections being held at all? Because the existing councillors could have been kept their seats until the councils are abolished, by being returned unopposed? But Reform candidates insisted on standing against them, causing an election? Reform candidates and no-one else?

There was a thread about this aspect of the recent elections - see https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/5478388-do-you-care-if-your-local-council-cancels-theiryour-local-election-in-may

And he was Palestinian. Sultana is a British Pakistani loudmouth who caused her own party of a few hundred people to disintegrate into factionalism yet thinks she should be telling another country how to run itself. That's the colonial aspect.

Also just to add, the Ayatollahs in Iran said the same thing, then murdered all the Socialists, enforced a strict Islamist state on their people and stole all their money to fund terrorism.
