The Victims’ Commissioner for England and Wales, Claire Waxman OBE, has launched the 2026 Victim Survey to gather insights into victims’ experiences of crime, support services, and the criminal justice system.
The Commissioner is urging victims to take the survey because their responses will help shape recommendations to improve support, strengthen victims’ rights, and deliver better justice outcomes in the future.
"Every victim’s experience matters. Whether you reported the crime to the police or chose not to, your insight is vital in helping us understand what is working and where change is urgently needed. I encourage all victims to take part in this year’s survey so that your voice can shape the improvements and reforms that will better support victims in the future. " - Claire Waxman OBE, the Victims’ Commissioner for England and Wales
Just in case anyone wants to contribute their experience(s)
