Red nose day - still captured?

Does anyone know if red nose day / comic relief are still captured by the gender woo? My daughter's school have a non uniform day tomorrow and I don't really want to donate if a portion of the money could end up with a charity like mermaids.

A quick look says they donate to the LGBT Consortium. Pledges from the pronoun people to prioritise trans and non binary charities.
No mention of Mermaids as an individual recipient.

Where did you find that info @Thatcannotberight ? I tried looking for a list of charities that they support but couldn't find one.

I looked up Comic Relief, Organizations We fund, on their website, picked a likely candidate. LGBT Consortium, then Googled them.

Red nose day is reprehensible in many ways. It is one of the methods the compulsory -thought elite perpetuate their dangerously sentimental fact-denying beliefs. Frequently, such anti-logic includes refusal to accept anything has changed since Marx, and Dickens: "Look, everybody, watch us being virtuous". "Look at the poor little crippled children begging for a crust of bread, and for a replacement wooden crutch to lean on".

Disabled adults strongly protested about the existence of the degrading Red Nose 'virtue signalling'. Rights Not Charity was their slogan. They were revulsed at being treated as sub-humans for whom it was natural to beg, instead of expecting equal treatment including reasonable adjustments, as required by the Equality Act.

Money raised is donated to a number of dubious charities which promote gender woo. That's enough for me to say 'no thank you'.

What, all of them?
As a trustee of a charity for a little understood condition of childhood which attracts very little in the way of donations, if Comic Relief gave us a grant we would be immensely grateful and not given a toss about how many people were virtue signalling when they donated.

@logiccalls I understand your sentiment and personally I think the likes of Red Nose Day are as outdated and patronising as kids going on gap years. But having worked for small to medium sized charities for many years, I can tell you that we'd bite their bloody hand off for a donation. Things are getting harder each year for the charity sector and the main objective is to make life better for those we serve. Unfortunately everything boils down to money.
