Creepy brothers filming up skirts and down tops for online monetisation

The Beeb is doing some good work reporting on the latest trend for men to covertly film women and girls on nights out - up skirts, down tops, or just perving over noticeably female bodies - and then uploading the footage to attract misogynistic comments and abuse.

Two brothers, Florjan and Roland Reka, are among the most prolific offenders. Reporters observed them filming in Manchester and traced footage they later uploaded to their “business channel” back to the same evening.

There is a very good photo of both scumbags in the story. Pass it out to every woman and decent man you know!

A treated image shows a stock photo of a man wearing a baseball cap while holding a phone up filming. The silhouettes of a group of women on a night out can be seen in the background.

Men covertly filming women at night and profiting from footage, BBC finds

The BBC went undercover to investigate an industry where women are filmed at night without their knowledge.

I just posted the same thing. It's so disgusting isn't it?
I'm no fan of the BBC but good on them for pursuing this.

It’s horrendous. And they’re not just reporting in this case - the Beeb is investigating, which is what I expect from a public broadcaster!

…I would really like to see the photo of the two perps circulated VERY widely. Give them a taste of what it’s like to be watched when they’re out in public!

I completely agree with you - but I know that many men who do this sort of thing simply do not care if people know who they are.
And the taxi driver named in the article clearly doesn't care. These men know just how far they can push it without it being deemed an offence:
"Hill strongly denies any wrongdoing and told the BBC he does not film individuals or intimate body parts, and that his camera is visible at all times.
"I do not film up skirts, intimate body parts, or any form of nudity. I have not engaged in upskirting or voyeuristic filming, and my videos do not contain sexually explicit content," he said in a message.
"The footage is not selective and does not target any particular group. It reflects whoever happens to be present in public spaces at the time of filming.
"I am aware that some online content creators may engage in inappropriate practices; however, my channel does not do so. Any suggestion to the contrary does not reflect the nature or purpose of my content."

I think this is what I’m listening to on Woman’s Hour right now. Vile

Davros · 02/02/2026 10:44

Don’t get chatted up by anyone wearing glasses! It’s horrific

Thelnebriati · 02/02/2026 11:24

Upskirting is a specific crime that can carry a 2 years prison sentence. How have they not been arrested by now?

I know filming in public is a 'grey area' but ffs, there's stuff that can be done here around it if the police and powers that be wanted. After all, even with 'civil' issues, police have the power to petition actions to be undertaken.

The taxi driver should be hauled infront of Manchester's Licensing Committee and have his license permanently revoked.

As for the Swedish brothers, surely there's a case for immigration to investigate based on them 'working' whilst visiting the UK (they obtained footage for their YouTube channel of which they receive money for). If they did not have a valid work visa, then immigration could surely ban them from entering the country again.

There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Greyskybluesky · 02/02/2026 11:37

To me it's totally voyeuristic, as much as they try and say it isn't.

It's one thing for a bloke to sneak a look at a woman's cleavage as he walks past her, but a very different thing to film it without her knowing and then post online where it stays forever more. It's really disgusting.

guinnessguzzler · 02/02/2026 11:39

Another one for the 'What the fuck is wrong with men?' list? I honestly don't understand it at all. It is so concerning that these men are filming but also who is paying for this content? It's just vile.

Also, I note the BBC yet again using language about no wrongdoing, just as they have been with the Epstein coverage. I wish their stock phrase was 'legal wrongdoing' instead ie 'There is no evidence of legal wrongdoing'. Because there is clear evidence in all of this of moral wrongdoing. Just because it's not illegal doesn't actually make it ok. I sometimes think men just shouldn't be allowed.

Davros · 02/02/2026 12:21

Not just posting online, where it stays forever, but getting 1000s of views and making money out of it

And encouraging mob hatred and targeting the women, who were just out in their town centres minding their own business.

I wonder how these two Swedish brothers would like it if their faces were plastered all over Manchester next time they visit? See how they like being infamous.

They need a good old fashioned beating

Makes me want to go out wearing a binbag/jump suit 😥🤬

GCAcademic · 02/02/2026 12:36

If the bar for prosecution is too high, at the very least the Swedish men can and should be barred from entering the country. People have been refused entry for less.

Thank you that is exactly the legislation I remembered being passed. Yet it seemed nobody in Women's Hour or the police had ever heard of it. There was much repetition of " Nothing anyone can do, if it's in a public space". The offending Swede obviously knows about it, having crafted a statement denying that photos taken up skirts of unknowing females can in any way be "upskirting" ?!

Well theyre wrong in saying it isn't targeted. They film women.
