Am very alarmed to see that many nurseries, primary schools and community groups are STILL pushing harmful gender ideology onto little kids. They are STILL telling them that if you play with the "wrong" toys you might have been born in the wrong body. Children BELIEVE adults .... which is why paedophiles are SO dangerous .... "would you like to come and look at my puppy /buy some sweets, let me drive you home etc etc". There are lots of books explaining the non-existent sex spectrum to little ones. Part of me thinks, well, they also read about santa claus, tooth fairies, magical cars etc etc. Soon enough they learn these things are "pretend". But telling children there is something "wrong" with them can have much more lasting effects. You probably know about Rachel Rooney's excellent book "My Body is Me" but there is also this one "Smoky and Pepper" by Sarah Yeslovitch. It is about a cat, Smoky, that wants to be a dog so that they can do all the things that Pepper the dog gets to do. The story explains that it is not possible for cats to turn into dogs. (People reading to the child can make the parallel with men and women) However the book DOES have a happy ending. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Smoky-Pepper-Sarah-Yeslovitch/dp/1399983059 The book has lovely illustrations and would make a great Christmas present!

The more books there are to counter the gaslighting /grooming materials pushing age inappropriate concepts like sex change at children, the better OP

You hit the nail on the head OP, the tooth fairy and father Christmas stories aren't telling kids there's something "wrong" with them. And there's nothing wrong with kids playing with any toys, no matter who they're supposed to be aimed at.
