False Allegations Against Doozer McDooze

SidewaysOtter · 24/11/2025 09:11

For those not aware, Doozer McDooze is the partner of the artist Birdy Rose, who has spoken on issues of women’s rights etc. Doozer has come under fire for not controlling what his partner says, including attacks on his work as a musician.

He posted this on TwiX, where a legit-sounding charity has made allegations that he’s a convicted sex-offender and instructed the venue for his album launch to cancel it or else.

This is absolutely insane. As Doozer says, these sorts of allegations can have very serious consequences. Who the fuck is doing this?

Doozer McDooze (@DoozerMcDooze) on X

The highs and lows of being a musician never stop. Last night at the Tea House Theatre was beautiful – I got to play my music to a room full of lovely, engaged people just enjoying themselves. After the show - the venue owner handed me two printed out...

What's interesting is, Lynsay's mad SEEN POOPN account has disappeared off Bluesky overnight. I know he's got other things going on (see here: Wings Over Scotland | Searching And Looking ) but I wonder if the heat of this is bringing attention he doesn't want. Accusing a person, in writing, of being a convicted sex offender, with the object of damaging his career, is open and shut libel. I'm not saying that Watson was behind those two fraudulent letters, but he's the one who's been inciting people to protest the venue, for quite a while.

He is immediately who came to mind when I heard about this.

Khalsa is a Sikh organisation that does great work with girls football. I can't see them being happy with this.

It reminds me of the behaviour of the trans-identifying men who tried to destroy Michael Bailey's academic career after he wrote "The Man Who Would Be Queen". They even made false complaints to US Social Services that he was sexually abusing his children. They had no qualms or morals in trying to ruin his life because he had caused narcissistic injury to their egos.

Assuming WoS is correct and SEEN POOP is Watson, and Watson is the “volunteer” in question, what was he arrested for in 1996? Must have been serious if he was strip searched 🤔

He lies about being a woman, and about having a network of volunteers.

I wouldn't take his word on the day of the week without checking a calendar.

They also used a fake domain name for the email address. Records show that voicesforsafety.org.uk was registered earlier today, probably after someone saw it on those emails.

Hmm, interesting. Someone trying to control the narrative of the monster they’ve created (I mean, libel is a pretty serious accusation) or an upcoming false flag…?

Possibly the real organisation registering the domain so it can't be used by anyone else

The real organisation doesn't exist. It'll be someone making mischief, from either side.

The only "Voices For Safety" I can see are an American blog by a woman called Wendy who seems to focus on everything from aging, "seasonal inspiration" and creative writing; a podcast from the Greater Manchester Patient Safety Research Collaboration; something to do with children's safety in Minnesota; and a domestic violent helpline in South Africa.

Earlier in the thread someone said they'd found an American organisation of that name. They clearly didn't send the message but may have been alerted and decided to secure the domain name.

NotThatWay · 24/11/2025 21:19

Look everyone, it's all just fake. The names are fake. The organisation is fake. The charity number is fake.

Of course it is. Someone has thought that this is an easy way to get someone "cancelled" but they've forgotten about things like IP addresses and internet histories. And lawyers, when someone's been falsely accused.

And somewhat surprisingly, they seem to have forgotten about the Malicious Communications Act.

Which is why they used the Contact form, not an actual email. And probably using a VPN to mask their IP address, if they're one of the clever ones.

But they'll have slipped up some way.
