Anyone remember the "TWAW", carrying the trans flag at Pride MSP? He's been arrested for child abuse images and hiding a hidden camera in the loo at Holyrood. FFS. 🤷‍♀️

It’s Colin Smyth. And he has always been a creepy, walking red flag. I’m actually glad this has happened; it’s out in the open now and give more momentum to the need for single sex spaces. A huge supporter of self id turns out to be a pervert hiding camera’s in bathrooms.

Flora2899 · 29/08/2025 14:11

Fuck sake. Hold on a minute things like this NEVER HAPPEN!!?? brand new information eh 🙄

Pollqueen · 29/08/2025 14:16

Shocked as this sort of thing never happens. Waiting to hear whether male or female loos. Media seems to have omitted this rather pertinent question

MistyGreenAndBlue · 29/08/2025 15:34

Well colour me astounded! 🙄

mateysmum · 29/08/2025 15:35

How long do we think it will be before this poor, vulnerable victim discovers his true feminine self and realises it's all the fault of those nasty terfs for making him do it?

BunfightBetty · 29/08/2025 17:25

JamieCannister · 29/08/2025 14:01

Yeah but, if there were a load of men in the women's they might have caught this man in the women's? Never thought of that did you?

🤣🤣🤣

SionnachRuadh · 29/08/2025 17:27

People keep saying, Reform can't get elected in Scotland.

At this rate all they'll have to do next year is put up candidates who aren't nonces.

It's getting to the point that anyone who wants to stand as an MSP should automatically be disqualified from doing so.

They could try a compulsory month long stint for names out of a hat from the eligible population, then another lot the next month. Like 5th century Athens. It can't be less effective or more dodgy than the current lot.

In actual seriousness, can we do searches on people's hard drives as part of vetting? For certain public-office jobs?

You could argue that it's an invasion of privacy but I for one think that's a price I'd pay to flush all the pedos out from public office

I think the loos, at the time, had been made gender neutral, so nice and easy for any old perv to hide a camera in. It takes me ages to go to the loo these days if the loos are gender neutral - cleaning the piss of the seat, sweeping for hidden cameras etc. What fun it is being a woman in the UK.

Merrymouse · 29/08/2025 17:46

From reports this afternoon, police didn't find a camera, so maybe the charge was based on what they found on his computer or phone.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 29/08/2025 19:58

It's getting to the stage where we need to insist that it's mandatory for every politician, civil servant, head of an organisation who oversees / promotes men in women's changing rooms / showers / toilets / hospital wards etc has an obligatory deep dive into their hard drives.

It's apparent that too many of them are personally invested in removing boundaries and safety from women and girls.

GoldenGate · 29/08/2025 20:10

I did wonder why Holyrood were so quick to act on single sex toilets following the SC ruling.

Dearg · 29/08/2025 20:21

And he had the gall to request privacy for his family. Privacy that he denied those he filmed.

Holyrood is not exactly a shining example to us…

He's asking other people to consider his family! Are you serious??! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

These men are so fucking ridiculously stupid. And nasty.

(And I do feel very sorry for his family and hope they dump this turd asap)

wuminty · 29/08/2025 20:30

The arrogance of thinking he's invincible, and will never be caught or suspected, suspended or charged. My flabber is gasted at the hubris.

Womanofcustard · 29/08/2025 22:17

Note - he was an MSP from the List, ie nobody actually voted for him.
I really is time that this system of voting is stopped. The only MPs/MSPs should be people that have been personally voted in, by the electorate.
It would also save a lot of money to have fewer MSPs!

ThatBlackCat · 30/08/2025 04:46

A sizeable proportion, if not the majority, of these politicians advocating against women and childrens rights are paedophiles or predators so this is no surprise. It's a feature of trans activism and ideology, not a bug. Absolute scum.

So if there were no covert cameras found at holyrood yet this man has been accused of placing a camera in a toilet there, there must be evidence to support the accusation - and what has happened to the covert device? Someone removed it, is the logical explanation, yes? But who? It is very disturbing on all levels. Shudder.

RedNine · 30/08/2025 09:11

NB the search for the covert device also included the creche and education centre.

1VY · 30/08/2025 09:32

It’s both male and female toilets outside the main chamber area and the police are contacting those who were allegedly filmed. So I can only conclude that the police have copies of the images, which has enabled them to identify the victims.

Victims could be identified if they are regular users of the building. Or through CCTV and sign in records if they are occasional visitors ( like me ). Or the groups of school pupils who often visit the building and observe sessions of the parliament .

Keeptoiletssafe · 30/08/2025 09:41

There are lots of cameras in loos and lots of footage loaded onto websites, so it’s a bit of a needle in a haystack I expect trying to identify the loo footage between watched.

Edit: posted before I saw the previous post.
I was unaware they had narrowed it down.

1VY · 30/08/2025 13:28

From the Daily Records

“ It is understood at least one MSP has been interviewed by cops as a potential victim over footage showing a man urinating in a bathroom.”

“ Ross Greer, a West Scotland MSP and one of the Scottish Greens’ new co-leaders, said the building’s users “all feel deeply, deeply violated right now”.
He said: “I feel sick to my stomach, and I know that every other user of the building – MSP, staff, visitor, journalist – feels the same way”.

That’s the same Ross Greer who attacked Sandie Peggie for wanting privacy to change at work . And who expelled Green Party members who believe in biological sex and women’s rights and who signed the Scottish Green Declaration for Women’s Sex-Based Rights .

And who said

“ Given the serious nature of this complaint and the serious breaches of the Scottish Green Party Code of Conduct, the only appropriate action to be taken on this occasion is that all current members who are signatories on the ‘declaration’ MUST be removed from the party with immediate effect, to ensure the safety of all trans and non-binary members of the Scottish Green Party.”

How odd that he feels so violated about cameras in bathrooms when they potentially affect him and not just women and children .

Was it a women’s toilet?

I think they’re mixed sex in Holyrood.

Which puts women at greater risk of male sexual offending.
