I feel for the jews born in a terrorised Israel as thats the only home they know, while disliking Netanyahu intensely. I also feel for the terrorised Palestinians as that the only home they know, while disliking Hamas intensely.

I was at the Transwidows session. I thought your sections of the film came over really well.

I don't know if this is helpful in any way, but when the director was introducing the two speakers I noticed that she made a point of the fact that she had become a personal friend of both of them after - and as a consequence of - their involvement in the film. It felt like partly giving the reasons why they were there.

I’ve become friends with V as well. She wanted me there, it was FILIA that vetoed that.

Looks like feelings are running high

I’ve been on twitter since 2017 and immediately followed every GC person I could find. On October 6 2023, I was following GC socialists, conservatives, marxists, scientists, progressive philosophers, I’m not a feminist trad wives, rad fems, lesbians and gays from across the political spectrum, people I vehemently disagreed with on almost everything except gender ideology, people who shared my personal political views, free speech advocates, Greens, Labour members Tories. I followed the broadest of church.

I was relieved to find that by October 8 2023, close to 90% of these people expressed absolute horror at October 7 and of these people, the vast majority have remained generally in support of the Jewish people and Israel.

So yes, based on who I followed prior to October 7, the vast majority of GC people who see through the lies and gaslighting on gender issues, also saw through the antisemitism and Jews Don’t Count sentiment post October 7 that infected vast swathes of society.

Here are photos of Arbel Yehoud being released in January. She was held in solitary for 500 days. Look at her terrified face as the Hamas men mob her. Look up the videos of her release on YouTube and see the raw terror on her face. How can you look away from women being they are Jewish?

Filia needs to get a hold of this and release a statement condemning antisemitism. But they won’t- they are lib fems in disguise.

I wonder whether a statement will be released about the incidents at the disco. I would like to hear about what they do and don’t support. There seems to be mixed messages everywhere. If the Filia team allowed that flag to be waved around, why?

I suppose it was almost inevitable at a conference that brings together people with strong opinions and an activist mentality from across the political spectrum at a time like this. Should the organisers have anticipated it? Perhaps. But it’s hard to see what steps could have been taken effectively to mitigate it without further inflaming the situation.

I would agree. Except for the people who seem to be involved. That is what concerns me. The people involved include invited panelists and are well known to the Filia organisers.

That is why I would be interested in hearing something directly from the organisers on this.

Glad to hear a man is coming to sort it out for women. Even better that he's a man with absolutely no bias on the issue of zionism.
