So what has prompted this post is my husband watched it and totally misunderstood what went on. I will comment on that later.

We are both left leaning BTW.

Husband is constantly washed with the right on so called lefty bollocks at work. (LA employee)

I just watched it (no idea how to do links)

It seemed to me from what KJK said that Reform had courted her, given her massive female following, to attract more female voters.

She said that she had a meal with them, but was ghosted thereafter.

So at a guess she did not compromise.

She also said that the comment from the ex prison Governor (re trans in women's prisons) was a “misstep”

She also said she was Islamophobic.

I can never work her out, part of me thinks she is very clever… like she dances with the devil. Which she actually says.

Back to my husband he has now read Doyle the new puritans, and has chose to pick Joyce Trans, without prompting.

Happy days, suspect i am dealing with some sloooow peaking.

But frankly re KJK, my husband had no idea what she was on about and saw her as far right.

I am going to have to explain this to him tomorrow.

I love her edgy ness and her extreme assertive stance…..

but maybe she should stay in the lane that got her this profile?

I often get confused and assume people calling tommy robinson Yaxley-Lennon are super fans, like calling cliffy, Harry Webb. They take every opportunity to brag about how much they know about him.

Theres a risk that even if KJK was selected, and won a seat, she would resign from reform and sit as an independent in no time. I bet they are thinking about that with a lot of potential candidates.

They've been through this with Rupert Lowe. Even before the controversy blew up, I'm told he was effectively an independent MP and didn't bother going to party conferences. They're aware they have a lot of headstrong types and are trying hard to turn them into a team.

This is regardless of what anyone thinks about their politics - just not to assume that they'll always be a ragtag band.

Lowe himself will probably redefect back to the Tories if his mate Jenrick gets to be leader.

The one thing i seriously avoid expressing is my views on the Palestine/ Israeli conflict because it is so fraught.

I am not a supporter of HAMAS, and not a supporter of the Israeli states current activities either.

It has nothing to with this post and i resent its introduction.

This is to me about KJK

I find her magnificent, and simplistic both at the same time.

My stay in lane comment, is that she wanders out of what i most admire about her.

And i truly wish she would stick to one issue politics.

She over generalises about things, i was unimpressed with her comments about the Let Women Speak contingency at Durham Gala. a working class contingency.

I am usually there, but could not go this year.

If i go next year i will seek out the LWS, and afford them protection of my sisterhood miners wives banner, which the Unison loons would not dare attack.

We were as miners wives one of the waves of working class women quite literally getting out the kitchen and speaking.

We were an iteration of “let women speak” before KJK came along.
