He was pointed out to me at a club in Kings Cross before his first hit came out. Back then he just posed and looked attractive. In a geisha sort of way. Whereas Jimmy Somerville would be dancing his socks off. What a pity they both turned into such crashing bores.

In the OP's photo Boy George is starting to look like Garry Glitter did.
I don't think the make up works as well, especially dark makeup around the eyes when a man gets much older. It makes the face and eyes look more sunken.

It’s always been very clear to me that BG doesn’t really like women. I think he’s probably one of those men who doesn’t see us as fully human. It does amuse me to consider what the ‘you must be pure in every view’ people think of this though.

I guess he's twigged the same thing and now just piggy backs off her fame.

JKR does have power, just a different kind.
She's a fantastic example to others that you can stand up for your views.
Her well earnt money has contributed to a few legal victories we know of, and possibly some we don't.
She made a mockery of that speech crime law in Scotland. Come arrest me, my lawyers are bored.
