Absolutely. I would prefer that people who can pay support him financially, it’s only £5 a month, but equally I want everyone to have access to top notch analysis! I’m happy to do a little due diligence on posters too if I feel weird about something!

When you DM your email asking to me or anyone else in this thread check what it posted in chat. I've had to ask everyone to spell out their email in bits to put that email into the free gift thing. Either MN or google or microsoft is putting in giant links instead of emails.
Spell you email out and make it very clear
e.g. firstbit .middlebit @ emailcompany .com
Make sure any dots or dashes are clear

One person who's username starts with a letter very close to trhe beginnig of the alphabet needs to send me an email address to get my last one. Those giant links are no use sorry. I'll hold it for you for a few hours, but after lunch it's snooze you lose.

Can I ask people to only ask for one if they are genuinely interested.
They are a limited resource. Ideally it should be treated like a free trial if you are considering subscribing yourself and want to sample some before signing up.
Of the 5 I handed out only 2 have been activated. I DMed everyone who got one, so those who got them know they got them.
Please don't ask if you are only maybe half interested.

How do you know if they have been activated?

There's a page here where you casn see the status of your gifts.
You get a green "Accepted" after the email addy if the recipient activated the gift.
https://knowingius.org stick a /gifts on the end, the forum doesn't like it. It should read /account/gifts

Is his stuff audio-only podcasts? I'd like to subscribe if there are written articles, but I'm hearing impaired and podcasts are no use to me. So I haven't subscribed, because I don't want to waste the money.

For the last 2 weeks it has been video with sound blogging the Peggie case.
Prior to that there seems to be articles and links.

Thanks, I'll give it a miss. I'd have been interested in blogs about the case, but not videos with sound but no subtitles.

I just had a look at a couple of his live videos from the Sandie Peggie case and they had subtitles.

I was checking this using the Substack app on my mobile phone.

You can also read all his past written content - some of which was behind the paywall.

I haven't been watching live, just watching the videos later and there are subtitles on mine. It seems to be the voice-recognition ones so there are odd words that have transcribed wrongly but they're pretty accurate. I've found the talks really illuminating in adding more depth, analysis and observations compared to the text on Tribunal Tweets.

He does written commentary as well Fictional, for SP he did lives which are now up as videos. I too have 5 gift subscriptions (late to the party as ever, sorry but they are still worthwhile).
