Sex Matters is a controversial charity that campaigns for the importance of recognising biological sex (as opposed to gender) in law, policy and language. The organisation does not recognise transgender identities.

What do they want to achieve?

Sex Matters recognises two sexes: female and male. The organisation wants to “promote clarity about sex in law, policy and language in order to protect everybody’s rights”.

Have only just had a look to see who wrote the article, and this is what I found:

Arielle Domb is a journalist based in London who investigates health, sex and subculture. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, VICE, Vogue, Cosmopolitan and more.

So not saying this is true, but this looks like some cobbled together article which she probably sent to any number of papers, and the Standard fell for it.

But as we know most "news" papers are captured.

Sadly for our budding "reporter" nobody is interested as there are no comments at all!

The dim bulb who wrote it doesn’t seem to realise that Sex Matters were intervenors in the SC case, they didn’t just “applaud” it.

Yes! 😂 I thought that too. Silly sods.
