That first one angers me the most. Using a beloved game character to advertise their twisted ideology to kids is absolutely disgusting. Unfortunately there’s alot of that on the Internet.

A comment on the other site (sorry to quote that site again but it really is the gift that keeps on giving):

How very odd. Maybe we should roll up to their events dressed in purple white and green, with bandanas and floppy hats, and big ‘JustBeKind’ banners. ‘Women just want to pee in peace’.

There are women passionately being kind, being mummy, being performatively lovely, embracing their saviour complex etc etc, I have friends who are otherwise quite sane but flip into batshit mode if a man presses certain buttons. Mostly they've so far lacked any eye opening experiences. (But these will eventually happen.)

But it's fine. They can go into the third spaces with men and validate them with their bodies to their hearts content.

I think many LGB people now feel that way.

This performance is a parody of what it began as. But this is what the TQ+ movement tend to do with everything; possess it, empty it, distort it, break it past all repair and then abandon it and the devastation left behind them and rampage on in search of the next thing to grab.
