Incensed that again mens opinions/ experiences prioritised over women’s . On Friday we had to hear from one of the BBC correspondents about the awful sexual assault cases in France by the surgeon. He knew less about it than probably any women on here. There was a wonderful feminist activist, Blondine , who had very powerful ideas and politics, but the man’s opinion was sought and he got the last word by saying nothing of interest. Why? There was a scientist expert on later who knew his subject which was fine. But there was another man too and I can’t remember why he was on at all.
the programme does seem to be veering towards men’s hour, for sure.
