This has made me so cross (highlighted section of her caption). To make matters worse I voted for this woman!

I’m tempted to write an email - any pithy suggestions of what I could say gladly received…

It seems to have been removed now?

AnnaMagnani · 10/06/2026 09:02

Mine's as bad. Voted for him to get the Tories out. Within a week he decided to go all in on trans.

Suspect he'd rather not have my vote than break the purity spiral.

Shame as he's in other respects a decent local MP.

Crikey

Sam Niblett: ’I’ll make a highly controversial statement and say I’ll block anyone who criticises it’

Also Sam Niblett: ‘how very dare you make a statement I find controversial and then block me’

Poor Sam, it’s almost as though people are working out ways to be deliberately unkind to her instead of treating her with reverence as a brave little light shining brightly in a big mean world.

Sorry Sam, clearly you haven’t been living on Planet Reality with the rest of us women, cos here on Planet Reality we are constantly having to relight our legal candles because some buggers keep trying to blow them out.

Oh goodness - I saw her on some TV clip debating with a reform councillor and a journalist (Rosie something or other). She didn’t have 2 intelligent words to run together, just ‘poor trans people not able to go into women’s spaces’. The reform chap put a succinct argument up - the journalist (who opened the discussion by accurately describing the FWS ruling as clarifying the law as it always was) didn’t get a look in.
Im surprised it took her so long to sign the letter.
Every time she communicates- on TV, with letters or on Tim Tim she just demonstrates her intellectual vacuum.

SecretSquirrelLoo · 10/06/2026 14:56

Legislation requires definitions. If you don’t like defining categories, maybe lawmaking isn’t your ideal calling.

More words of wisdom from MP Samantha Niblett:

"If common sense was common it would be used more commonly. And one person’s common sense, is not another person’s. Laws and regulations are there to help protect everyone. If they need reviewing and updating we do that"

RedToothBrush · 10/06/2026 16:21

What a niblett.

It's a bit more complex than that dear. Why aren't women's wishes to name themselves women invalid?

Blimey. Is she up for poet Laureate when her political careen goes down the pan ?

I saw this too but on Facebook.

Even though her post is saying that she would block anyone who disagreed with her, she was having a go at someone who had blocked her! Confused

Excellent response!

BunfightBetty · 10/06/2026 17:23

Just seen her proudly updating Tik Tok that she's added her name to Nadia Whittome's EDM... 🤦‍♀️

And if anyone were in any doubt that she's an eejit suffering from internalised misogyny, I guess we're all very sure now.

It's like watching a car crash in slow motion. I'm reminded of that email that used to go around years ago on the 'Darwin awards' about people who took themselves out of the gene pool with idiotic stupidity. This is kind of like that for MPs.

She'll be ejected at the next election. She only had a majority of about 4,000 last time...

chouxchoux · 10/06/2026 18:09

Really pleased this thread has been resurrected as I have been despairing at her latest shite today! The comments she’s left to people responding to her post on FB re the Nadia Whittome EDM are just ridiculous. The usual “0.5% of the population, the most vulnerable” nonsense.

She is trotting out the “cis men are the real enemy of women” trope - what she thinks trans women are is beyond me!

I’m a left leaning luvvie London export to Derbyshire, a woman in my mid 30s. I should be the kind of constituent she should, on paper, easily secure a vote from at the next election. And yet she horrifies me!

Is she the Cheshire Cat?
