Rosie Millard stood down because she couldn't stand by the BBC's support of LGBTYS.

She is interviewed by Andrew Gold on this and other failings:

On LGBTYS:

'The worst thing you could imagine if you're in charge of a children's charity'.

Just listening now and enjoying it 👍😁

Thanks for this. I’ve always liked Rosie and look forward to hearing her on this.

Why is it always the BBC in cahoots with paedophiles. It is amazing how many roads lead back to the BBC.

Should be shut down.

Love Rosie Millard. A woman with the courage of her convictions.

ArabellaScott · 16/05/2025 07:24

She also discusses Saville, I think - not had time to watch yet!

I agree re: BBC
It's not so much they seem to be linked to so many dodgy characters because it is a large organisation after all so the bigger the workforce, the more unsavoury characters.

It's more that any hint of nefarious goings on and the BBC appears to close ranks with shocking regularly.

ickky · 16/05/2025 10:30

As Rosie emphasised on the video, they didn't give a fuck about the sexual abuse kids had suffered, they just didn't want the bad PR.

Despicable.

How is the CEO still in post?

ArabellaScott · 16/05/2025 16:17

Thanks, Pensieve, yes. I absolutely cannot credit that schools are still employing LGBTYS. It's utterly astonishing.

I remember comments from one top BBC bod saying that Saville was never involved with Children in Need because of "concerns".

ScrollingLeaves · 16/05/2025 18:49

Who was the ‘chief executive ’ she mentioned?

ArabellaScott · 16/05/2025 19:42

https://www.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/about-us/executive-team/

'Simon Antrobus has been Chief Executive of BBC Children in Need since November 2016'

CEO & Directors - BBC Children in Need
