My friend and I have boycotted the co op recently over trans comments. Does anyone have a list ?

Snag tights

Init4thecatz · 12/05/2025 22:09

Any company that when asked 'what is a woman?' can't answer.

INeedAPensieve · 12/05/2025 22:37

Depressingly it might be quicker to list the companies that are pro-women. So many places have capitulated to the trans activists that there really aren't many sensible ones left.

Off the top of my head as well as the ones already mentioned (Lush and Ben and Jerry's being the most batshit), M&S are captured as are John Lewis, Innocent, Starbucks, Costa and Schuh. I'm sure there was a thread last year that listed a good chunk. Sorry I tried an advanced search to find it but can't see it.

Marks and Spencer

floormops · 12/05/2025 22:55

Every government organisation, including
NHS
Civil Service
Education
Police
BBC

All difficult to boycott/ avoid unfortunately.

floormops · 12/05/2025 22:58

I know they aren't companies, but it shows what we are up against.
Barclays were on the list I think.
YHA?

PoorUncleBarry · 12/05/2025 22:58

Netflix, Amazon, and IBM, coca cola, Google.

Also, Adobe, Apple, Target and Reddit are also anti women.

RobinEllacotStrike · 12/05/2025 23:03

Nike
bud light
Versace
Virgin Active
David Lloyd gyms

Netflix might show some dodgy shows but also host Dave Chappell & Ricky Gervais.

MistyGreenAndBlue · 12/05/2025 23:05

Nike (of Dylan Mulvaney sports bra fame) Body shop. Lloyd's Bank. Ocado

Hattieandcake · 12/05/2025 23:19

Annoying about M&S and Amazon as spend a lot here for convenience and treats!

Yes many times over.

The NHS is the worst IMO as the obvious danger of mis-treatment is totally nuts!!!

I saw that Dove clip floating on nitter / x, too. But is it sure this is real?
I haven't found it attached to an official Dove account on social media.

However, I found a clip for the German market with several women, where I am now wondering whether they added an undercover TW.
It is not clear.
I mean the dark-haired model (straighter hair). At the beginning of the clip, she looks like one of the women, but in 0:14s where they mirror the face, I started to wonder.

This is really tedious, to have to be so suspicous all the time. It creates extra work to be vigilant, for no good reason. And no, I am not singling out non-"traditional" looking women, I'm looking for undercover men, the TRAs made me do it 😐

Just come across this. Not big companies but local campaign.

https://www.nottinghampost.com/news/nottingham-news/full-list-100-notts-businesses-10175139?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar&s=09
Sam Harvey, the director of The Pastel Project, says he created the 'Your Spaces Too' project to assist businesses during the period, but also to give them the opportunity to show they remain inclusive of the transgender community. "We’re giving bars and venues some clarity and some guidance," he said.
"Many businesses are worried these recommendations from the Supreme Court are unworkable. We're asking them to provide certain facilities for transgender people. Some places just have facilities such as stalls and urinals and that works fine.
"We’ve seen some amazing responses from local businesses and, if you walk around the city centre, you can see so many get involved. It's not just traditional LGBTQ+ spaces - so many people are onboard with this."
While not official legal advice, the activist group is offering policy recommendations and guidelines based on current UK statutes. The campaign has also led to stickers being handed to all businesses involved, which are then shown in windows at venues to clarify their position on the new ruling.

The campaign has begun in Nottingham and looks set to spread to other cities

I thi know they've muddled 'not legal advice' and 'advice that is not legal'.

maybeuptight · 18/05/2025 15:08

I'm feeling less worried about the Ben & Jerrys now
