Not sure how much of the article is readable.

This chap, Jes Staley, pulled Barclay's support from MN over so called 'trans' issues. Some may remember the fuss a few years back.

Now transpires from emails revealed in court he was close to Epstein and had sex with an Epstein employee.

Funny how things turn out in the end.

Barclays and Epstein: It Gets Worse.

As Barclays Bank CEO, Jes Staley championed the LGBTQ+ agenda and organised the boycott of a mother's forum. Now he's admitted he had sex with an "employee" of Jeffrey Epstein.

Where did I put my shocked face? Had it around here somewhere.

Weird how all the people doing bad things turn out to be people doing more bad things.

Well, well, well! How surprising indeed. A man who tries to punish a platform where women can speak in defence of safeguarding children and defending women’s rights is revealed to have been a user of Jeffrey Epstein's supply of what effectively amounted to exploited women. Epstein effectively groomed and pimped young women and underage girls to be exploited by rich and influential men.

I wouldn’t believe a word this Jes Staley says as he appears to have been caught out on a bare faced lie in court and also had an attack of a ‘lack of recollection’ which Mulcahy said seemed to be surprising. Yeah, I bet.

Is there no end to these creepy misogynistic men who have been trying to shut women up about safeguarding and the onslaught against women’s rights? And now we see why, for some at least. Dodgy feckers, in my humble opinion. Who turned their support to ‘causes’ which may have damaged more than a few youngsters for life.

Excerpts below from: https://www.theguardian.com/business/2025/mar/14/jes-staley-case-evidence-barclays-fca

‘The case centred on the contents of a 2019 letter from Barclays to the FCA, which stated that he and Epstein “did not have a close relationship” and were last in contact “well before” Staley became its CEO in 2015.’

‘But the FCA said the two men had a close relationship that “went beyond one that was professional in nature”, and presented Staley with evidence drawn from Epstein’s estate and a cache of 1,200 emails provided by his former employer, JP Morgan.’

’Staley, who took the witness box from Monday, was asked to explain messages where the pair declared their “deep” and “profound” friendship and called each other “family”.’

and

’The former banker struggled to recall details surrounding the more notorious exchanges in which the pair discussed lovers and sex, corresponded from a debutante ball, or cryptically referred to their preferred Disney princesses.
Staley’s lack of explanation surrounding that exchange left Mulcahy to declare that his “lack of recollection seems surprising”.’

Bombshells and revelations: how the Jes Staley evidence unfolded

Ex-Barclays CEO’s admission that he had sex with Jeffrey Epstein employee is among details to emerge in court

No way!! Goodness me.

thenoisiesttermagant · 26/03/2025 09:12

The almost daily reminder that men who don't like women talking about safeguarding usually have dodgy motivations.

Thanks OP!

🍿 whilst waiting to hear if sissyporn is involved in the private affairs which are non of the public's business. It helps understand why people are so happy to let go of women's rights so publicly. Their actual morals were never meant to be exposed...

LadyBracknellsHandbagg · 26/03/2025 11:08

Is this another one of those things ‘that never happen’?

lcakethereforeIam · 26/03/2025 11:11

Yes, it's 'not happening' again!?

MrsOvertonsWindow · 26/03/2025 11:31

It's not a bug is it? It's a feature of the men who try to silence women. Sexually incontinent, self invested in removing safeguards and too many sexually abusive criminals.

Ugh. These men.

Promoting Tachell, Mermaids? Why the fuck? What's it got to do with bloody banking??

Seriously, who do these bloody men think they're kidding.

'Deep friendship, special relationship, like family', with a man whose entire raison d'etre is to supply rich men with groomed women and girls.

and is prepared to publicly boycott a parenting forum devoted to safeguarding children who are blowing the whistle. Publicly. Doesn't give a fuck.

And then says why would I introduce my wife and daughters to a paedophile on the one hand, and then on the other saying well I don't know why I was sent all those pictures of women and girls, but ya know bankers and trading floors what you gonna do!

A very close and dear friend of Jeffrey Epstein you say? Epstein the child sex offender?

RoyalCorgi · 27/03/2025 17:05

No one could have predicted this. No one.

Ostensibly an attempt to recover reputation points. But then again, the hand of Stonewall is there from quite early on:

'In 2012 after a series of scandals and huge fines from regulators for, among other things, running a multi-billion dollar tax avoidance scheme Barclays was in crisis and appointed the notably nice Anthony Jenkins as its CEO. His mission was to reform the bank’s toxic corporate culture.

Changing a culture takes time though so in 2014 Jenkins signalled his virtuousness by embracing the cause du jour. All things LGBTQ+. In an interview in the Standard he announced Barclays would be the headline sponsor of Pride in London.

While Jenkins forecasts it could take five to 10 years to restore the reputation of the bank, its reputation as a diverse employer has already won plaudits, not least from campaigning group Stonewall.”

He also boasted that in 2014, “The bank ran the British finance industry’s first transgender-awareness event at its Canary Wharf base…”

All this rainbow willy-waving was all very well but investors still demanded a return and when profits sagged in 2015 Jenkins was fired. Now the Board turned to the man they had overlooked the last time. The man Jeffrey Epstein their client had urged them to appoint.'

Odd how many institutions are finding that having embraced Stonewall's demands and fake law, they're now embroiled in scandals involving intimidation, bullying and the removal of women's rights. See numerous universities, law firms and the Met police currently displaying their inappropriate political allegiance with anti women / anti safeguarding groups.
