A transman (biological female) was asked to move from the mens side to the female side due to not having a penis. I think this is a naked spa. The transman's friend recorded the conversation with a member of the Spa staff.

Aggressive and boring. I'd have told her to stop thumping my desk. Well done receptionist for holding her nerve in the face of such bullying.

Turned off comments. The receptionist was very polite.

Apparently they have caved and will now let trans people use the area that corresponds to their 'gender identity'

Receptionist was very clear and consistent and well prepped, even if their policy is flawed because it would allow a man who’d had his penis removed into the female side.

it was easy to recognise which of the 3 voices was male, he spoke over the two females. It’s a dead giveaway.

I suspect the whole thing is a set up, designed to cause a fuss. But no one much cares about TiFs, on account of them being female and posing no danger to the other spa members who have members.

And I note if I got the correct webpage that male staff will deal with naked men. So they likely had problems with that in the past.

And well done to the staff member who had to manage the camera intimidation by a couple who knew that they were going to get naked in a public space used by men.

It does say on your next post they were compling with California law, so sadly they didn't have any other choice but to cave. I am willing to believe that they were targeted by activists, it being a TIM is a twist. Man=Adult Male Human.

Obviously transmen invading men's spaces don't constitute the same risk to men's safety as transwomen invading women's spaces.

But as many keep saying, it's not just safety that matters, but privacy and dignity as well. That also applies to men.

Let's hope that incidents like this, if and when they become known, wake a few men up to the downsides of gender woo.

I'm so sick of this crap. I don't even want to go to my local leisure centre anymore because I'm not sure how I'd react if a man was in the women's changing area. I'd probably get banned which would make me even angrier
Personally I wouldn't be satisfied with segregation by genitalia unless it was natural genitalia. I wouldn't want to be near a man with an inverted penis either.

Just prior to this spa being hassled, another one in SF was also being targeted. According to Reduxx one of the protesting TW activists is a registered sex offender.

These people are despicable, supporting a rapist, a rapist who wants access to unclothed women. Have they really no introspection? Do they honestly believe that he's a she?

I pity the poor woman they picked on, she was so calm. Awful that the spa had to cave. Suspect the numbers attending will plummet.

Even though - and I of course mean no disrespect to anyone personally working in these jobs, I’m making a systemic comment - this is really something that ought to be above receptionist pay grade. So unfair to leave frontline staff dealing with this kind of nonsense. Clearer laws are urgently needed to avoid scenes of this nature.

I'm enjoying the very based receptionist doing the actions to her 'male parts go in the male part, female parts go in the female part'. It could be worked up into a little routine like the flight attendants do before take off. She did really well, even with an aggressive man swearing at her.

Halo Leisure centres in England and Wales have this policy: Please use the changing rooms and toilets that align with your gender identity and presentation. If you identify as one gender and present as another, please talk to our manager first so that we can agree on the best approach.

Duty Managers are paid £13.50/hour. Utter cowardice by these organisations to shift responsibility to frontline staff while they are safe in their HQs slapping each other on the back for their progressivism. NHS, this means you too. Plus every political party that spouts the case-by-case crap
