The Left Vs Right's treatment of women

I heard this statement recently and was wondering if women here could help explain it to me with historic examples:

"The Right treat women as their private property, and the Left treat women as public property".

Is it that the Right, purportedly perusing 'c'onservative family values may be more inclined to be anti-abortion? But why is this a 'private property' concern?
And the Left, I am thinking of Rosie Duffield and the very public ostracisation of her by Starmer.

But I know that's not correct. Just mulling this over and wanted some more information.

I suggest you investigate properly yourself. Search for political compass.

I think I've solved the mystery.

I just tried to access the link on my phone (I was accessing on PC with an ad block) and at the top of my browser page was an ad for "Blossomup".

Since touchscreens are notoriously temperamental, I suspect your phone registered you clicking on the link as tapping twice, and tried to bring up the ad that would have loaded in as soon as the website opened.

The political compass test gave me my result on the screen without asking for payment. There was a further offer where you can get a printout of the results and stuff if you sign up (and presumably pay?) But that was an optional extra and I didn't look very closely at it.

The PC test doesn't cost anything.

It is rather like a personality test though, it is very biased. Not on purpose, but the result is the same.

It made me laugh, because it dumped me very firmly into the Left/Libertarian quarter. I am obviously making a right pig's ear of being a Far Right Nazi-Adjacent Bigot, and must Educate Myself and Do Better...

I'm authoritarian left - the communist quadrant.
I think I was libertarian last time I did the test, but I no longer believe women's rights can be trusted in a libertarian model and I think society needs to have some more stringently enforced rules and boundaries (mostly to curb the worst tendencies of male behaviour).

Mind you, I'm not very authoritarian and I'm actually pretty close to the centre - my values are a mix of old-fashioned and new-fangled.

Complete failure at being Nazi fash trash, though.
